The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmelo Beltxe during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Carmelo Beltxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, AFC CERBEROS's goal looked a bit too open when Karsten Illgner came free, but Abel Tabb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Tabb was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Joseph Hussen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joseph Hussen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. KFC Uerdingen 05's Radenko Mayer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Osasun in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Karsten Illgner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Tabb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Tabb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Andrau in the 16th minute of play. AFC CERBEROS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Manfred Andrau scored to the left of an out of position Abel Tabb, making the score, 2-0. Abel Tabb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karsten Illgner in the 24th minute. AFC CERBEROS's Jonathan Osasun got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Freddy Jerrold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 32 minutes, Freddy Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC CERBEROS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Jerrold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manfred Andrau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gregor Reinauer hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Kai Laakmann. In the 42nd minute, Jonathan Osasun made a precise shot to the right of Radenko Mayer. KFC Uerdingen 05's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.

The wind increased when Freddy Jerrold made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, AFC CERBEROS's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Andrau came free, but Abel Tabb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radenko Mayer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Misael went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Gabriel Misael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute Alois Fontagnier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Tabb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Misael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fatmir Zollt hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Freddy Jerrold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karsten Illgner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Tabb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karsten Illgner in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ratko Leibold in the 78th minute of play forced AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Abel Tabb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ratko Leibold fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Uerdingen 05's protests and gave Ratko Leibold a yellow card for diving instead. Ratko Leibold kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. AFC CERBEROS's Gabriel Misael got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abel Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Andrau, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Abel Tabb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alois Fontagnier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Tabb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Hussen in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Ratko Leibold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Uerdingen 05's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ratko Leibold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, AFC CERBEROS's goal looked a bit too open when Karsten Illgner came free, but Abel Tabb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The KFC Uerdingen 05 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AFC CERBEROS's performance. The match ended with a win for AFC CERBEROS.
