José Luis Cuciuffo scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Tabb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Urko made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gabriel Misael immediately put the ball in play. 20 minutes into the match, AFC CERBEROS's goal looked a bit too open when José Luis Cuciuffo came free, but Abel Tabb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the AFC CERBEROS defense, Franky Van Der Elst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Tabb. The AFC CERBEROS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Tabb should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that José Luis Cuciuffo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Tabb was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Abel Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Luis Cuciuffo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Jerrold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
