After 16 minutes, Amadeo Florin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Copérnico F.C. and the Loco Team FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Loco Team FC's zone, Amadeo Florin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Sesto came out of the goal and Amadeo Florin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Armando Labaras notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Copérnico F.C.'s Eloy Polentzi. Eloy Polentzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the match, Copérnico F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Armando Labaras came free, but Eloy Polentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
