Melquiades Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Luis Cuciuffo in the 18th minute of the match. The Memphis Grizzlies fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Memphis Grizzlies's Franky Van Der Elst looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 22 played minutes Chuscha FC - Ψ - got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Cordearo. A collision led to Chuscha FC - Ψ - getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fulgencio Cordearo hit a great ball. Memphis Grizzlies's Ken Blackwater quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Daniel Barrios, made in the 28th minute of the game. In the 29th minute José Luis Cuciuffo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Memphis Grizzlies's Gez Winship proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Memphis Grizzlies from getting a goal against them. Melquiades Maura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Luis Cuciuffo went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Melquiades Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franky Van Der Elst in the 41st minute of the match. Melquiades Maura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Fleming in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s Marcos Macerio got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franky Van Der Elst made a kick off. Gez Winship took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Iago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If José Luis Cuciuffo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Peter Wiltshire replaced Franky Van Der Elst. A collision led to Chuscha FC - Ψ - getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Micael Barrios hit a great ball. In the 73rd match minute, Chuscha FC - Ψ - was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Oalo to maneuver through the defense. Memphis Grizzlies's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
