Adolfo Rico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Gez Winship made a huge save. Adolfo Rico's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gez Winship firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 45th minute, Eliseo Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
