The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to AFC CERBEROS getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Carmelo Beltxe hit a great ball. Abel Tabb made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Dejan Leuschner sent off a good shot on target. Abel Tabb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolko Röhmer in the 6th minute of the match. Abel Tabb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carsten Schaub's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Filiberto Bemabe kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. AFC CERBEROS's Abel Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carsten Schaub in the 12th minute of play. After 14 played minutes AFC CERBEROS got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Hotz. In the 15th match minute, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunther Trendelenburg to maneuver through the defense. Bolko Röhmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Jerrold came free, but Sönke Odenwälder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Tabb made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Fritz Nettig sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Abel Tabb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ture Nadolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Bruce Pesch reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abel Tabb. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Bolko Röhmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Bolko Röhmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Tabb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Fritz Nettig could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Abel Tabb however easily saved by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carsten Schaub was the one to do the kick off. Abel Tabb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Nettig in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Dejan Leuschner got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Dejan Leuschner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 61 minutes, Cornelio Valerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC CERBEROS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Valerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Bolko Röhmer notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of AFC CERBEROS's Abel Tabb. Abel Tabb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fritz Nettig took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Tabb. Abel Tabb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Nettig in the 72nd minute of play forced AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Abel Tabb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bolko Röhmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Tabb having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, AFC CERBEROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Bemabe to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, AFC CERBEROS's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Nettig came free, but Abel Tabb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Tabb came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Fritz Nettig. But to his dismay, Fritz Nettig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 89 minutes, Gunther Trendelenburg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. and the AFC CERBEROS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Gunther Trendelenburg hit a great ball. Carsten Schaub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Tabb having to interfere. Jonathan Osasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sönke Odenwälder having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. had won after a very even match.
