The 0 descensos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Blai should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, 0 descensos's goalkeeper Gaston Blai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Artaldo. In the 15th minute, AFC CERBEROS's Albano Ralondo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Albano Ralondo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AFC CERBEROS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Albano Ralondo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Juan Artaldo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro Raymon made a kick off. The supporters of AFC CERBEROS booed when 0 descensos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute, Fausto Frederico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute Teodoro Raymon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Blai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 minutes, Justino Erruki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC CERBEROS and the 0 descensos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, 0 descensos's Alejandro Hanni dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Frederico in the 74th minute of play forced AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Aureliano Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0 descensos's Gaston Blai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Frederico in the 78th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Cristobal Gentza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Pacho. AFC CERBEROS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristobal Gentza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. When the final whistle sounded 0 descensos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AFC CERBEROS.
