LTA FC's Arsenio Maiorga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save LTA FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, LTA FC's Arsenio Maiorga got control of the ball when Alberto Francesco tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Serafino Chesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of LTA FC booed when KYRA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Tauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes LTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Bernad. In the 31st minute Ivan Bernad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Baristo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Baristo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Palermo in the 34th minute of the match. Martin Palermo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Alonzo Baristo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Bernad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Martin Palermo made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, KYRA FC's Arsenio Tauro got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 70th minute Martin Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Baristo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Tevez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonzo Baristo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Justo Argina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LTA FC's Arsenio Maiorga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arsenio Erico charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Erico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arsenio Erico hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Santo Nuñez kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The LTA FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LTA FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
