The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Luis Petri fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LTA FC's protests and gave Luis Petri a yellow card for diving instead. Arsenio Maiorga didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Carmelo Tiniebra shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Carmelo Tiniebra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Arsenio Maiorga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. LTA FC's Rodrigo Braña managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Henrik Stor in the 39 minute of the game. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Carmelo Tiniebra got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Tiniebra in the 43rd minute of play forced LTA FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenio Maiorga was a little too slow when Luiz Gustavo Sena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Gustavo Sena was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Carmelo Tiniebra notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of LTA FC's Arsenio Maiorga. Arsenio Maiorga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the match, Lε COCO SρσяtiV's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Bernad came free, but Laureano Matia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LTA FC's Arsenio Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Tiniebra in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Tiniebra in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arsenio Maiorga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 minutes, Gregorio Castulo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LTA FC and the Lε COCO SρσяtiV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Gregorio Castulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LTA FC's Arsenio Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Tiniebra in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in LTA FC's zone, Carmelo Tiniebra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsenio Maiorga came out of the goal and Carmelo Tiniebra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Lε COCO SρσяtiV defense, Martin Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laureano Matia. The Lε COCO SρσяtiV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laureano Matia should have stopped the shot. After 88 minutes of play, Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Carmelo Tiniebra made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arsenio Maiorga was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Lε COCO SρσяtiV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
