Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Quintan in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Su prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Copérnico F.C.'s Arnoldo Txatxu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roman Su in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Herminio Guillelme made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Douglas Pinho sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Leandro Haritzeder put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Herminio Guillelme. Copérnico F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Montrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Kaxen hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Leandro Haritzeder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Guillelme was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When Zeledon Soter fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NECKER49's protests and gave Zeledon Soter a yellow card for diving instead. NECKER49's Salvador Bernat was substituted for Leandro Haritzeder. Zeledon Soter was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, NECKER49's Zeledon Soter got a free kick in the 89th minute. Herminio Guillelme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Ruy, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Bernat in the 92nd minute of play forced Copérnico F.C.'s goalkeeper Herminio Guillelme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Isidro Ruy made a precise shot to the right of Herminio Guillelme. Copérnico F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The NECKER49 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Copérnico F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
