Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afanasiy Mozolin in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Bruno Capello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Trip fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in MDQ Raptors FC's zone, Bruno Capello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Francesco came out of the goal and Bruno Capello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Trip's attentive Edelmiro Neto managed to snatch the ball when Ernesto Elodio made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Agustín Rossi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Bruno Capello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Francesco was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Los Trip made a substitution. Wiliam Tepedino replaced Manuel Santxol. Los Trip were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after MDQ Raptors FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. CJ Asensio took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Wiliam Tepedino drilling the ball in to score 6-1 behind MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper. 84 minutes into the match, Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosme Francesco. MDQ Raptors FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. 95 minutes into the match, MDQ Raptors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Perutxo came free, but Cosme Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
