Vicky Donda made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Saturnino Romo sent off a good shot on target. Oliverio Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Oliverio Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Corrêa in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Saturnino Romo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicky Donda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Casimiro Ugutz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn. Oliverio Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 41 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Xacintu. In the 45th minute Saturnino Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicky Donda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nouvelle Vague's Juninho Juni got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Romo came free, but Vicky Donda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luis Henrico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliverio Kahn was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Luis Frisco kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Jerzy Marchefka might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicky Donda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerzy Marchefka ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicky Donda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Marchefka in the 92nd minute of play. Vicky Donda came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Jerzy Marchefka. But to his dismay, Jerzy Marchefka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
