Casimiro Ugutz started the match with the kick off. Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Renato Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rodolfo Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nouvelle Vague's Vicky Donda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Azevedo in the 17th minute of play. Rodolfo Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Vicky Donda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 30th minute Remus Bălășoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicky Donda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicky Donda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The corner ended in Remus Bălășoiu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nouvelle Vague's Vicky Donda did a great save. In the 36th minute Casimiro Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Nouvelle Vague getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Hugo Villaverde hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Azevedo came free, but Vicky Donda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Casimiro Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Ugutz in the 43rd minute of play forced El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Villaverde. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Azevedo to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Azevedo came free, but Vicky Donda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Azevedo got free with Vicky Donda in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicky Donda didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After a rather tough play, Nouvelle Vague's Cayetano Cordaro got a free kick in the 58th minute. Rafli Leonard might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicky Donda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafli Leonard ran back to his position shaking his head. Nouvelle Vague's Anselmo Dracena was substituted for Juninho Juni. Fatih Kadi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Rafli Leonard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes El ABUELO FC got a freekick which was hit by Fatih Kadi. Luis Henrico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Luis Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Luis Henrico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luis Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodolfo Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Henrico, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Osmar Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Henrico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The El ABUELO FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Nouvelle Vague from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
