The supporters of ACF Fiorentina booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Gdowik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Federico Kalinowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Oliver Rizzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Gustavo Gomez in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Despidida AFC's Oliver Rizzo. Maximino Cabezon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Selatse having to make a save. Maximino Cabezon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fernando Selatse firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fernando Selatse made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Maximino Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. ACF Fiorentina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabriel Gaufred in the 17th minute. Justino Elequemedo made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ACF Fiorentina's Oier Jareño. Federico Kalinowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toro Martínez in the 25th minute of the match. Hu Xi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Federico Kalinowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toro Martínez in the 31st minute of play. Despidida AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Lucila in the 32nd minute. The corner led Despidida AFC's Kajetan Gdowik to fire away a dangerous shot which Federico Kalinowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Federico Kalinowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toro Martínez in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

55 minutes into the game, Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Kalinowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Emiliano Velasco replaced Toro Martínez. Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu was substituted for Ancho Branca. Maximino Cabezon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Selatse having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Maximino Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot. ACF Fiorentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Cabezon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
