Toro Martínez started the match with the kick off. Despidida AFC's Justino Elequemedo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Barros in the 7 minute of the game. In the 10th minute Toro Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicky Donda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Selatse was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Casimiro Ugutz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Despidida AFC's Kees Harmsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Villaverde, made in the 23rd minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's goal looked a bit too open when Toro Martínez came free, but Vicky Donda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimiro Ugutz. Fernando Selatse made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Casimiro Ugutz sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Barros in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Despidida AFC's Justino Elequemedo. Vicky Donda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toro Martínez's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes Nouvelle Vague's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Lucila who took care of the corner kick. Despidida AFC's Justino Elequemedo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vicky Donda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vicky Donda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toro Martínez went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Vicky Donda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toro Martínez in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Ugutz in the 57th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Rizzo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Dinu Ivănescu replaced Ancho Branca. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Oliver Rizzo got a free kick in the 59th minute. Nouvelle Vague's Osmar Vale was substituted for Vito Genovese. Vicky Donda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a little luck, Nouvelle Vague's Vicky Donda got control of the ball when Emiliano Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casimiro Ugutz hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Nouvelle Vague made a substitution. Anselmo Dracena replaced Juninho Juni. Nouvelle Vague's Luis Henrico was substituted for Casimiro Ugutz. After 73 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Ugutz. Vicky Donda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Velasco went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Dinu Ivănescu took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Vicky Donda to make any attempt to save it. Vicky Donda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinu Ivănescu in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. Nouvelle Vague's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Lucila ran over to the corner to take the kick. Feliksas Fenichev made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dinu Ivănescu. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Henrico in the 93rd minute of play.
