The crowd rose to their feet as Elano Lobado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wesley Meira. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Maverick Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Elano Lobado scored to the left of an out of position Wesley Meira, making the score, 3-0. After 22 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Tepedino. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Vordenbäumen in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley Meira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 minutes, Elano Lobado made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Maverick Futebol Clube's Wesley Meira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Wesley Meira managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Deportivo Ortegano's Elano Lobado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Paulo Renato Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maverick Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Renato Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronald Vordenbäumen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Meira having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Vordenbäumen in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wesley Meira saved Maverick Futebol Clube from getting behind. Wesley Meira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronald Vordenbäumen's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Ortegano fully deserved thier win.
