Los Potrillos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Resul Eralkan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Resul Eralkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filiberto Figueroa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eustaquio Txaran kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Resul Eralkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sefa İltemir might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filiberto Figueroa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sefa İltemir ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, Resul Eralkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Los Potrillos's Abelardo Cloyo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2.

Filiberto Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Resul Eralkan in the 53rd minute of the match. Filiberto Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Resul Eralkan in the 55th minute of play. Sefa İltemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Figueroa having to interfere.
