The audience thought a goal was coming when Géza Rákosi got free with Krama Bollen in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the game, Vânderson Palmeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xandeco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hamburg City Vampires the free kick. The supporters of Hamburg City Vampires booed when Xandeco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball.
