In the 12th minute of the match, Aaron Sandalio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nestor Cortez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aaron Sandalio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Nestor Cortez made a huge save. Guansa's Esteban José Andrada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavao Zadro in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Guansa booed when Lobos de Carelia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vecdi Tamkut didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Prospero Perico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban José Andrada was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience was convinced that Aaron Sandalio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Cortez was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ildefonso Arixo hit a great ball. In the 25th minute Prospero Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban José Andrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Aznar took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. José Carlos Gaspar hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Prospero Perico struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Esteban José Andrada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobos de Carelia. In the 33rdth minute of the game Eloy Aznar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Guansa's Yuan Lin Shi got a free kick in the 35th minute. Nestor Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Pavao Zadro came free, but Esteban José Andrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban José Andrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Perico in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aaron Sandalio made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Xu Ran Zhen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteban José Andrada skillfully saved the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Guansa's goalkeeper Esteban José Andrada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Perico. Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Sandalio, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimiro Millano got free with Esteban José Andrada in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
