The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Alfredão Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osman Ali Temircan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mundial EC's Geovânio Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Hamdi Tecen in the 12th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mundial EC's goalie and right to Suat Akbora. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mundial EC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 17 played minutes Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903 got a freekick which was hit by Suat Akbora. In the 17th minute of the match Lauro Trigo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osman Ali Temircan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Suat Akbora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osman Ali Temircan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Falcão in the 25th minute. When Faik Keykubad was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 32 minutes had been played. A collision led to Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Faik Keykubad hit a great ball. Gustavo Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Geovânio Santana managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903's Ediz Satvet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Geovânio Santana acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gencalp Bozoğluer. Osman Ali Temircan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Monteiro in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Mundial EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ediz Satvet came free, but Geovânio Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Mundial EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
