After some careless play in the FC Karamba defense, Bernd Goldsche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giannis Gounaris. The FC Karamba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giannis Gounaris should have stopped the shot. Silvério Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klemensas Makauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Miglius Pikelis fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Karamba's protests and gave Miglius Pikelis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, FC Karamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miglius Pikelis to maneuver through the defense. Bernd Goldsche hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Giannis Gounaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The supporters of Passa o Tanque MZ booed when FC Karamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egidijus Grabauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match, Gilmar Torres got a very nice opportunity to score, but Giannis Gounaris was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Giannis Gounaris made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when André Luís Leite sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 31 minutes, Klemensas Makauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Karamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klemensas Makauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Valdo de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 46th match minute, FC Karamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnas Navakas to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 47 minutes, Gilmar Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Passa o Tanque MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilmar Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Klemensas Makauskas was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, FC Karamba's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Torres came free, but Giannis Gounaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvério Netto was a little too slow when Eddi Ramkilde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-1. Silvério Netto was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Klemensas Makauskas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Klemensas Makauskas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Giannis Gounaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Leite in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Bernd Goldsche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Gounaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Luís Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Giannis Gounaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Passa o Tanque MZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlinhos Carvalho in the 78th minute. The corner ended in Carlinhos Carvalho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Karamba's Giannis Gounaris did a great save. In the 89th minute, André Luís Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Passa o Tanque MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. FC Karamba's Giannis Gounaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Torres in the 95th minute of play. The FC Karamba players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Passa o Tanque MZ from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
