In the 15th minute of the match Basavilbaso FC got a corner. Richi Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henric Springfält ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Basavilbaso FC's corner Henric Springfält fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claudio Asteri quite easily take care of the ball. In the 17th match minute, Richi Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Primeiro to maneuver through the defense. Richi Boys's Claudio Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Springfält in the 19th minute of play. Ruben Gentza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Asteri having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Richi Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Mano to maneuver through the defense. Henric Springfält struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Claudio Asteri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basavilbaso FC. The supporters of Basavilbaso FC booed when Richi Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Gilesindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Clemente Rubio made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Asteri. Richi Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 35 minutes into the game, Basavilbaso FC's Clemente Rubio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. If Henric Springfält had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes Basavilbaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Zayvius Bengoechea. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Claudio Asteri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henric Springfält, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basavilbaso FC's Henric Springfält was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 59th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Claudio Asteri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henric Springfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Venancio Lop got free with Claudio Asteri in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudio Asteri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Basavilbaso FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
