With a little luck, FC Cavia Pyskowice's Zenon Osikowicz got control of the ball when Zlatin Ibrahimović tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Wit Polkoski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zenon Osikowicz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC Cavia Pyskowice's Zenon Osikowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Cavia Pyskowice from getting a goal against them. Dobromir Kondysar hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Czeslaw Miecznikowski struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Zenon Osikowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Modlau. Zenon Osikowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatin Ibrahimović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wit Polkoski hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Feliks Kasprzak's late challenge caught a Modlau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliks Kasprzak helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Cavia Pyskowice getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Feliks Kasprzak hit a great ball. Zenon Osikowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatin Ibrahimović in the 35th minute of the match. Zenon Osikowicz made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Zlatin Ibrahimović sent off a good shot on target. After 41 minutes, Lucjan Rosiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Modlau and the FC Cavia Pyskowice players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Modlau's Lucjan Rosiewicz got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Okey Cavia in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukasz Traczewski saved Modlau from getting behind. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima had several of the FC Cavia Pyskowice's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Zenon Osikowicz as he didn't even see the shot coming. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Okey Cavia to strike the kick off in the second half. Modlau's Lukasz Traczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okey Cavia in the 51st minute of play. After 54 minutes of play Modlau's Lucjan Rosiewicz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 54th minute, Lucjan Rosiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute of the match FC Cavia Pyskowice got a corner. Modlau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Radomil Bondel ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Cavia Pyskowice's Radomil Bondel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lukasz Traczewski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zenon Osikowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Rekawiczka in the 59th minute of the match. Modlau's Stefan Sidorowicz was substituted for Fabian Smolarek. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Modlau! After a long run with the ball, Radomil Bondel did a trick in the 68th minute in front of Modlau's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-1. If Zlatin Ibrahimović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Zlatin Ibrahimović made a precise shot to the right of Zenon Osikowicz. FC Cavia Pyskowice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Modlau players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
