Orgullo's Artzai Tarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Covataru in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cormoranii -MM-'s Lucrețiu Sântimbrean got a free kick in the 8th minute. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Cristoiu in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Lucrețiu Sântimbrean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artzai Tarin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dino Zoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Cristoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Artzai Tarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Sântimbrean in the 25th minute of play. After 26th play minutes Manole Cristoiu shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Dino Zoff and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Cristoiu in the 30th minute of play forced Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Dino Zoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Manole Cristoiu sped through Cormoranii -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dino Zoff. Dino Zoff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manole Cristoiu's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes Cormoranii -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Vulpe. Manole Cristoiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dino Zoff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manole Cristoiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Manole Cristoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dino Zoff made a huge save. Artzai Tarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Sântimbrean in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Orgullo's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Boldur came free, but Artzai Tarin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Orgullo's Gungun Karo-karo got a free kick in the 44th minute. The supporters of Cormoranii -MM- booed when Orgullo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. D.J. Banan didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was a well-played corner which Lucrețiu Sântimbrean managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramiro Paul made a kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Cormoranii -MM-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Orgullo:s goal. Dino Zoff had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Manole Cristoiu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 60th minute, Manole Cristoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Orgullo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Cristoiu in the 64th minute of play. Isac Covataru took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artzai Tarin. Artzai Tarin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Orgullo's Araoz Vallejo was substituted for Mario Zapatero. Orgullo made a substitution. Aimar Barro replaced Manole Cristoiu. 75 minutes into the match, Orgullo's goalkeeper Artzai Tarin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isac Covataru. If Lopes Maysonet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Sântimbrean in the 81st minute of play forced Orgullo's goalkeeper Artzai Tarin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Lucrețiu Sântimbrean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cormoranii -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lucrețiu Sântimbrean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artzai Tarin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugen Boldurs short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Artzai Tarin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eugen Boldur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Artzai Tarin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Cormoranii -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Cormoranii -MM-'s Eugen Boldur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dino Zoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aimar Barro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 98th minute Aimar Barro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
