Beat Leutwyler made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Marcel da Rocha sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of B68 Toftir booed when Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawid Kalak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcel da Rocha to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Lizbeth in the 55th minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Braulio Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to B68 Toftir's Felix Asserlindh getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to B68 Toftir getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Arkādijs Žurka hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Deyna came free, but Beat Leutwyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Marcel da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Leutwyler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Red Devils fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Red Devils's Marcel da Rocha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
