Segundo Rocio hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's Hélio Braga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ceferino Lartaun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Cachiyuyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Ortle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's Nelson Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Lizar in the 39th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hélio Braga made a kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Godoy couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Delmar Lizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyu's Guaberto Ramirez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nelson Albuquerque narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nelson Albuquerque didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Godoy went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's zone, Miguel Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Albuquerque came out of the goal and Miguel Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Guaberto Ramirez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cachiyuyu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cachiyuyu fully deserved thier win.
