The supporters of Torpoint City booed when Balnearia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Cresconio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Kelemen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nyongun Emenalo's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Nemesio Cordero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rufus Ajayi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute Nyongun Emenalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Kelemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torpoint City's Rufus Ajayi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Cordero in the 17th minute of play. Rufus Ajayi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Cordero in the 20th minute of the match. Balnearia's Leopoldo Kelemen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iloabuchi Ajide in the 22nd minute of play. Rufus Ajayi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Cordero in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Saidi Ayara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Nyongun Emenalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Kelemen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Henry Arowolo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Erasmo Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Iloabuchi Ajide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Kelemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nyongun Emenalo to strike the kick off in the second half. Nemesio Danel charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Danel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Torpoint City's Saidi Ayara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Nemesio Danel kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Torpoint City's Iloabuchi Ajide got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Erasmo Ospin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balnearia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Rufus Ajayi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Ospin in the 86th minute of the match. When Nemesio Cordero came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Balnearia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Cordero couldn't finish the play. Torpoint City's Ozulu Oyeoku got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Nemesio Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rufus Ajayi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Balnearia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Torpoint City's performance. The match ended with a win for Torpoint City.
