After a rather tough play, Raureni Academy's Cristinel Tomozei got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A beautiful save bye Raureni Academy's goalie prevented a goal. After 5 minutes Raureni Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Moritz Hasenjäger who took care of the corner kick. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Raureni Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Moritz Hasenjäger was slow to take the kick. During this time Hertha 1969's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Hertha 1969's corner Moritz Hasenjäger fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivan Aanicăi quite easily take care of the ball. Nils Hovermann took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Aanicăi. Ivan Aanicăi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ivan Aanicăi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nils Hovermann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Francisc Ţăranu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raureni Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hertha 1969 the free kick. Ivan Aanicăi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Paulo da Silva in the 19th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Hertha 1969's Nils Hovermann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivan Aanicăi. That made the score 3-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 23rd minute, Zé Paulo da Silva made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Aanicăi. Raureni Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 26th minute Kristian Oswald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Aanicăi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Ionel Cârneci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hertha 1969's Zé Paulo da Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Aanicăi was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Nils Hovermann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nils Hovermann really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Ivan Aanicăi was a little too slow when Nils Hovermann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 6-0. In the 39th play minute Moritz Hasenjäger came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ivan Aanicăi. 7-0. In the 44th match minute, Raureni Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Cârneci to maneuver through the defense. Moritz Hasenjäger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zé Paulo da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Moritz Hasenjäger in the 80th minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Ivan Aanicăi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Tomozei didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo da Silva in the 81st minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Ivan Aanicăi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Lüder Roppel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hertha 1969 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. 13-0 became the score in the 90th minute when Gigel Elenescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ivan Aanicăi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Aanicăi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hertha 1969's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
