The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Sand ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute José Sand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Aanicăi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigore Ozon made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ITAFUT 4EVER's Marquinhos Best. The audience was convinced that José Sand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Aanicăi was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Lucrețiu Domuță's late challenge caught a ITAFUT 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucrețiu Domuță helped the player get up and apologised. José Sand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Aanicăi having to make a save. Raureni Academy's Ivan Aanicăi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Raureni Academy from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when José Sand came free, but Ivan Aanicăi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match, João Vítor Porto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivan Aanicăi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Cristinel Tomozei fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raureni Academy's protests and gave Cristinel Tomozei a yellow card for diving instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nichifor Aelenei made a kick off. After 53 minutes Raureni Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jean-Paul Møffelmand who took care of the corner kick. 54 minutes into the match, José Sand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Aanicăi. Raureni Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Sand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Sand in the 59th minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Ivan Aanicăi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ITAFUT 4EVER's Sidney Bertassi was substituted for Evelio Rico. ITAFUT 4EVER's Boguslaw Tarasek was substituted for João Vítor Porto. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution.
