Ionică Lucescu came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Panait Frânculescu could save by the left post. Panait Frânculescu made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Ionică Lucescu sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Marin Dică managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandria Team08's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Dică was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. King Junior breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. George Mineață hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Liviu Cristocea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panait Frânculescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. King Junior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Dică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, Kobra TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Paiva to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Kobra TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Abraão came free, but King Junior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panait Frânculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Paiva in the 34th minute of play. Basarab Panciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marin Dică took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised King Junior. King Junior dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Alexandria Team08's Panait Frânculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Lopes in the 53rd minute of play. Panait Frânculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Cristocea in the 56th minute of play. Panait Frânculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panait Frânculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amauri Lopes in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Ionică Lucescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Frânculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Paiva came free, but Panait Frânculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Paiva in the 77th minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Panait Frânculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Paiva came free, but Panait Frânculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. King Junior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Dică in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alexandria Team08 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
