Augusto Gonzalez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Matthew De la Torre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Rubinho Couto managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Salelles's Paulino Marin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Paulino Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Rubinho Couto made a huge save. 15 minutes into the game, Paulino Marin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rubinho Couto. Paulino Marin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Padro Cabrera hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The supporters of Leões do Sul 53 booed when Salelles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afşar Çoğaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Fontes in the 24th minute of play forced Salelles's goalkeeper Augusto Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leões do Sul 53's Rubinho Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaşar Başok in the 27th minute of play. Paulino Marin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Rubinho Couto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paulino Marin in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The Salelles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Marin made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Salelles's Matthew De la Torre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 60th match minute, Leões do Sul 53 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Brodel to maneuver through the defense. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Marin in the 77th minute of play forced Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Rubinho Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doni Marques hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute of the match Matthew De la Torre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rubinho Couto skillfully saved the ball. Salelles were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Leões do Sul 53 for a fine match.
