Téo Rosa took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrick Zeier. Henrick Zeier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Téo Rosa spun around in front of the goal 7 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Tarada's goal. Tory Pryor took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrick Zeier. Henrick Zeier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tory Pryor in the 18th minute of play forced Tarada's goalkeeper Henrick Zeier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arthur Hengemühl. Tarada's Henrick Zeier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pirmin Jäggi in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Tarada getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Arthur Hengemühl hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Stian Aarflot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Stian Aarflot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lionel Paly. That made the score 1-2 in the 24 minute of play. Lionel Paly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Wielowiejski in the 27th minute of play. Henrick Zeier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tory Pryor in the 35th minute of the match. Henrick Zeier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Téo Rosa went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After the first half FC Wil 1900 were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tarada made a substitution. Florian Walther replaced Piotrek Zielinski. The wind increased when Tory Pryor made the kick off in the second half. Georges Gladu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Marcel Eichelberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarada's Stian Aarflot got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lionel Paly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Hengemühl, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 75 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Stian Aarflot came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serge Jeanneret hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Lionel Paly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Eichelberger, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Hengemühl in the 88th minute of play. Tarada's Henrick Zeier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pirmin Jäggi in the 97th minute of play. The Tarada supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Wil 1900's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Wil 1900.
