Tor Hjeltman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wyatt Snow in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavlos Konstantakakis saved Hamburg Fighters from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gianluca Balla got free with Lars Köhler in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Buffalo Bills's Alfred Wieczorek got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gianni Balla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Wieczorek in the 69th minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valerian Podlich hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Hamburg Fighters's Valerian Podlich got a free kick in the 76th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hamburg Fighters had played much better football throughout.
