Flatline Zombies were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Hannover Reds's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Finn Neeser took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Finn Neeser got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernd Yuschni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 20th minute Lars Voss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armağan Mukremin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Hannover Reds got a corner. Flatline Zombies's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lei Xiang Rong ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Lei Xiang Rong almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Argina in the 23rd minute of play forced Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Armağan Mukremin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armağan Mukremin made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Willi Tilmann sent off a good shot on target. With a left leg Armağan Mukremin saved Flatline Zombies from getting behind.

Lars Voss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andaç Adahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Armağan Mukremin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armağan Mukremin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Argina, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Armağan Mukremin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willi Tilmann in the 58th minute of the match. Flatline Zombies's Paulo Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernd Yuschni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernd Yuschni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Seco in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Seco in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernd Yuschni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Hannover Reds booed when Flatline Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liborius Müller didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Hannover Reds's Bernd Yuschni got control of the ball when Levent Erkinay tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Paulo Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hannover Reds's Bernd Yuschni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Paulo Seco put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bernd Yuschni. Bernd Yuschni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Seco in the 89th minute of the match. Flatline Zombies's Liborius Müller was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernd Yuschni in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Qiao Xing Qi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armağan Mukremin having to interfere. When George Oprița fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flatline Zombies's protests and gave George Oprița a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Flatline Zombies got a freekick which was hit by George Oprița. The Flatline Zombies supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Flatline Zombies would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
