Remo Borges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rupert Heidingsfelder's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute Nils Hovermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remo Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Kang Yun Chao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rune Jarstein was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Róbert Štriker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Róbert Štriker really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Hovermann in the 13th minute of play forced VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Remo Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Nils Hovermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Themis Papadimoulis in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rune Jarstein saved Hertha 1969 from getting behind. With his leg Rune Jarstein managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 25 minutes into the match, VfL Bad Nenndorf's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Heidingsfelder came free, but Remo Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by VfL Bad Nenndorf's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lüder Roppel was slow to take the kick. During this time Hertha 1969's players had a chance to rest. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themis Papadimoulis in the 28th minute of the match. Nils Hovermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Remo Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Volker Koplin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lv Kun Liang in the 34th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match, Róbert Štriker tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rune Jarstein saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themis Papadimoulis in the 41st minute of play. Jonatan Lekberg kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's Lüder Roppel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Róbert Štriker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Themis Papadimoulis made the kick off in the second half. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lv Kun Liang in the 53rd minute of play. Jonatan Lekberg made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hertha 1969's Emilio Melzer. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Remo Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themis Papadimoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Themis Papadimoulis sped through Hertha 1969's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rune Jarstein. Rune Jarstein came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis. But to his dismay, Themis Papadimoulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themis Papadimoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themis Papadimoulis in the 75th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themis Papadimoulis in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Jarstein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Hertha 1969's zone, Róbert Štriker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Jarstein came out of the goal and Róbert Štriker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remo Borges made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Rupert Heidingsfelder sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbert Štriker in the 85th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute Themis Papadimoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lv Kun Liang in the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Róbert Štriker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rune Jarstein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When the referee ended the match the VfL Bad Nenndorf players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
