When Buffalo Bills's Ricart Mendiguren in 2 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rune Jarstein guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ulli Hartwig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Elenescu in the 4th minute of the match. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Hjeltman in the 7th minute of play. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Hjeltman, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricart Mendiguren in the 8th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Rupert Heidingsfelder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buffalo Bills's Ulli Hartwig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rune Jarstein was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Ricart Mendiguren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ricart Mendiguren really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Adalbert Jantzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rune Jarstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Buffalo Bills's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Hovermann came free, but Ulli Hartwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match Hertha 1969 got a corner. Buffalo Bills's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lüder Roppel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Lüder Roppel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Buffalo Bills's Ulli Hartwig did a great save. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frerk Hentschel, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ulli Hartwig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Buffalo Bills's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Elenescu came free, but Ulli Hartwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frerk Hentschel to make the kick off. Ulli Hartwig came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Hertha 1969's Rupert Heidingsfelder. But to his dismay, Rupert Heidingsfelder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 59th minute, Moisés Igrejas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frerk Hentschel, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Ulli Hartwig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert Heidingsfelder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricart Mendiguren in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rupert Heidingsfelder got free with Ulli Hartwig in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Adalbert Jantzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buffalo Bills made a substitution. Lars Oliver Renz replaced Ansyari Kapisa. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalbert Jantzen in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rupert Heidingsfelder got free with Ulli Hartwig in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rupert Heidingsfelder who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Ulli Hartwig when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 79 in the game by Rupert Heidingsfelder from a close distance when the talented Ulli Hartwig managed to make a qualified save. Buffalo Bills's players were relieved. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricart Mendiguren, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricart Mendiguren in the 85th minute of play. The Hertha 1969 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
