Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tory Pryor started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute of the match SV Bad Harzburg got a corner. FC Wil 1900's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Éthan Pichard ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Éthan Pichard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly did a great save. Kaimo Liiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lionel Paly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Lionel Paly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Éthan Pichard, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match, Pirmin Jäggi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacek Matuch was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by SV Bad Harzburg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Téo Rosa was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Wil 1900's players had a chance to rest. Emery Heller was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tory Pryor in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Loi made a kick off. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Rosa in the 54th minute of play. SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after FC Wil 1900's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Éthan Pichard took the corner. SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lionel Paly in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jacek Matuch came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wil 1900's Téo Rosa. But to his dismay, Téo Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 67th minute Téo Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Matuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tory Pryor in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacek Matuch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Jurek Ohrem took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lionel Paly to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georges Gladu in the 76th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Téo Rosa got a free kick in the 78th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Silvestre Loi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Loi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Silvestre Loi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lionel Paly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éthan Pichard in the 82nd minute of play. A hard shot 84 in the game by Silvestre Loi from a close distance when the talented Lionel Paly managed to make a qualified save. FC Wil 1900's players were relieved. In the 85th match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernhard Zollinger to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Georges Gladu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch. Jacek Matuch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SV Bad Harzburg succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC Wil 1900 had controlled the match.
