Tarada's Henrick Zeier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Tarada from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron Migneault in the 18th minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Paul Heyckendorf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Ahrem came free, but Henrick Zeier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Heyckendorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serge Jeanneret in the 21st minute of the match. Paul Heyckendorf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Wielowiejski, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Academica Pulheim's Kurt Ahrem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrick Zeier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Kretschmer came free, but Henrick Zeier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Kretschmer took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrick Zeier. Henrick Zeier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Henrick Zeier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Mansilha in the 30th minute of the match. Henrick Zeier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alex Mansilha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. Academica Pulheim's Alex Mansilha got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 played minutes Tarada got a freekick which was hit by Leif Kohler. When Alex Mansilha came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Academica Pulheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Mansilha couldn't finish the play. Henrick Zeier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Mansilha, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Tarada got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Gunnarsson. After some careless play in the Tarada defense, Lutz Golke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrick Zeier. The Tarada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrick Zeier should have stopped the shot. Tarada's Florian Walther was substituted for Piotrek Zielinski. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Mansilha made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Kurt Ahrem ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrick Zeier was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 68th minute, Lutz Golke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Academica Pulheim's Paul Heyckendorf got control of the ball when Adam Wielowiejski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrick Zeier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxime Vrints, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxime Vrints sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Paul Heyckendorf managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Tarada's Adam Wielowiejski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Maxime Vrints had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrick Zeier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Setara in the 85th minute of play. Academica Pulheim's Paul Heyckendorf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stian Aarflot in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxime Vrints in the 89th minute of play forced Tarada's goalkeeper Henrick Zeier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrick Zeier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Setara in the 90th minute of the match.
