After 10 minutes, Rein Goethals mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the de belletrekkers and the Academia D3c3bal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute Ovidiu Panaite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristiaan Van de Velde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Academia D3c3bal FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Crăcană. de belletrekkers's Rein Goethals got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Rein Goethals had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Costel Achifoaiei. Academia D3c3bal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rein Goethals was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With an all-out effort, Academia D3c3bal FC's Kristiaan Van de Velde threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ovidiu Panaite, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 27th match minute, Academia D3c3bal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Crăcană to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yanniek De Middeleer in the 28th minute of play forced Academia D3c3bal FC's goalkeeper Costel Achifoaiei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costel Achifoaiei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Armentier, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Costel Achifoaiei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rein Goethals in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Edgard Armentier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costel Achifoaiei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 45th minute, Edgard Armentier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilie Tănase could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Kristiaan Van de Velde made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ilie Tănase was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ilie Tănase got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to de belletrekkers getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Theo Weba hit a great ball. Ilie Tănase received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. In the 64th minute, Rein Goethals reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Costel Achifoaiei. The goal made the score 0-3. Ovidiu Panaite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristiaan Van de Velde having to interfere. Răzvan Târcă hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Rein Goethals received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute.
