Brzostowiec's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hahay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robert Roman in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Banaszak got free with Edgar Smuskiewicz in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Kaider in the 29th minute of play forced Brzostowiec's goalkeeper Szczepan Adamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marek Kaider in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Szczepan Adamus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute Marcin Lepucki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Adamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match, João Félix got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edgar Smuskiewicz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulryk Frenzel got free with Edgar Smuskiewicz in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Hahay's Waldemar Karbowski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brzostowiec fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hahay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
