Artur Loureiro charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Loureiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Breguete FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Artur Loureiro hit a great ball. When Evaristo Abastas came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the NECKER49 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Abastas couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the match, Emilio Ursino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson Souza. Breguete FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Ursino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rodrigo Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Keylor Navas made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Evaristo Abastas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jefferson Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jefferson Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Abastas in the 18th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Breguete FC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Godoi. In the 21st minute, Higinio Ledesma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. NECKER49's Keylor Navas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save NECKER49 from getting a goal against them. In the 27th match minute, Breguete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Jefferson Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Abastas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes Breguete FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gualterio Peruxu who took care of the corner kick. 32 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Domingues came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Rodrigo Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keylor Navas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Keylor Navas made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Rodrigo Domingues sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Domingues dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Keylor Navas, 2-2. After having played for 41 minutes, Rodrigo Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Breguete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Abastas came free, but Jefferson Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Roberto Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NECKER49 made a substitution. Wilfredo Ebardo replaced Higinio Ledesma. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Abastas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamim Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Keylor Navas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute Rodrigo Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keylor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wilfredo Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NECKER49 made a substitution. Aristides Castel replaced Evaristo Abastas. Breguete FC's Jefferson Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Breguete FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Domingues in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keylor Navas saved NECKER49 from getting behind. Keylor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Domingues in the 69th minute of the match. NECKER49 made a substitution. Alvaro Godoy replaced Gualterio Peruxu. In the 70th match minute, NECKER49 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Peruxu to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Domingues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keylor Navas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Aristides Castel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's Rodrigo Domingues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keylor Navas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rdth minute of the game Nathan Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NECKER49's Keylor Navas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Alvaro Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nathan Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keylor Navas having to interfere. Despite being the better team, NECKER49 failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
