In the 22nd minute of the match Club Atlético Atlanta got a corner. NECKER49's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Guter ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 29 minutes, Pedro Rojelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the NECKER49 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Pedro Rojelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 played minutes NECKER49 got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Ursino. Cipriano Abajas hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Fabian Guter from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Keylor Navas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Evaristo Abastas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Oihenarte having to interfere. The Club Atlético Atlanta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NECKER49 were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Abastas to make the kick off. Emilio Ursino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Oihenarte having to interfere. Donato Nalo charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Keylor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Wei Xuan Yang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NECKER49 made a substitution. Alvaro Godoy replaced Gualterio Peruxu. In the 74th match minute, NECKER49 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wei Xuan Yang to maneuver through the defense. When Teobaldo Milian came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Milian couldn't finish the play. Wilfredo Ebardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Aquiles Oihenarte made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Ursino came free, but Aquiles Oihenarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
