The VfL Bad Nenndorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Štriker came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's Rupert Heidingsfelder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remo Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Papadimoulis in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils Hovermann got free with Remo Borges in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbert Štriker, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute of the game, Lv Kun Liang landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 32 minutes, Lüder Roppel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hertha 1969 and the VfL Bad Nenndorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis got a free kick in the 60th minute. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rune Jarstein, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. VfL Bad Nenndorf's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
