The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafael Heintz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levent Erkinay in the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Flatline Zombies getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Valentin Rindlisbacher hit a great ball. Rafael Le Mentec hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Flatline Zombies's Finn Neeser got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. George Oprița kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Armağan Mukremin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elvis Töpfer in the 17th minute. After 19 played minutes Flatline Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Imbach. After 22 minutes Flatline Zombies's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvis Töpfer in the 24th minute of play forced Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Armağan Mukremin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Seco made a kick off. After some careless play in the Flatline Zombies defense, Linus Mattes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armağan Mukremin. The Flatline Zombies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armağan Mukremin should have stopped the shot. The TSV Delliehausen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Flatline Zombies had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
