Levent Erkinay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Kryspin Cupial made a huge save. With a little luck, SSV Ulm 1846's Kryspin Cupial got control of the ball when Paulo Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Kryspin Cupial had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Seco. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Armağan Mukremin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Flatline Zombies players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SSV Ulm 1846 were winning 0-1.

The throw-in from Valentin Rindlisbacher in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SSV Ulm 1846's Jose Ramon Talcao. Armağan Mukremin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Monschke in the 66th minute of play. SSV Ulm 1846 were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Flatline Zombies's much stronger midfield.
