With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loris Groß in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rune Jarstein saved Hertha 1969 from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's Emilio Melzer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Fontagnier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rupert Heidingsfelder who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Marc Fontagnier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rupert Heidingsfelder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Hertha 1969's protests and gave Rupert Heidingsfelder a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fc Schönhagen booed when Hertha 1969 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Heidingsfelder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rune Jarstein was a little too slow when Loris Groß got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-2.
