Paul Heyckendorf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loris Groß, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Fc Schönhagen's Loris Groß sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Heyckendorf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Fc Schönhagen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Wauters to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Fc Schönhagen's Loris Groß sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Heyckendorf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Grajdeanu came free, but Paul Heyckendorf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Loris Groß managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Schönhagen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loris Groß was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loris Groß to make the kick off. Simon Beuke made in the 50th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fc Schönhagen's Junior Grajdeanu. Paul Heyckendorf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Junior Grajdeanu's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Fc Schönhagen's Marc Fontagnier got control of the ball when Lutz Golke tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55thth minute of the game Loris Groß who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academica Pulheim's Paul Heyckendorf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Loris Groß made a precise shot to the right of Paul Heyckendorf. Academica Pulheim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Academica Pulheim's Maxime Vrints was substituted for Lutz Golke. Marc Fontagnier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugó Bøss, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loris Groß in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Heyckendorf saved Academica Pulheim from getting behind. Loris Groß blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Heyckendorf having to make a save. Paul Heyckendorf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loris Groß in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Hugó Bøss made a precise shot to the right of Marc Fontagnier. Fc Schönhagen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Fc Schönhagen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
