Lucrețiu Brătescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loris Groß, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Themis Papadimoulis might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernhardt Reshauge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Themis Papadimoulis ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loris Groß got free with Lucrețiu Brătescu in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Themis Papadimoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Junior Grajdeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Brătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucrețiu Brătescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loris Groß in the 22nd minute of the match. Lucrețiu Brătescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loris Groß in the 27th minute. After 30 minutes of play, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernhardt Reshauge was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, VfL Bad Nenndorf's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Grajdeanu came free, but Lucrețiu Brătescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Themis Papadimoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernhardt Reshauge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VfL Bad Nenndorf's Lucrețiu Brătescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save VfL Bad Nenndorf from getting a goal against them. After the first half VfL Bad Nenndorf were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loris Groß was the one to do the kick off. Lucrețiu Brătescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loris Groß in the 51st minute of the match. If Themis Papadimoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernhardt Reshauge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themis Papadimoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fc Schönhagen's Bernhardt Reshauge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themis Papadimoulis in the 66th minute of play. Bernhardt Reshauge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Papadimoulis in the 69th minute of play. Bernhardt Reshauge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Štriker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes Fc Schönhagen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zsolt Székely who took care of the corner kick. VfL Bad Nenndorf's Zsolt Székely was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernhardt Reshauge in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of VfL Bad Nenndorf:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fc Schönhagen:s goal. Lucrețiu Brătescu had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Loris Groß's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Róbert Štriker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bernhardt Reshauge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucrețiu Brătescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaklin Karchev in the 80th minute of play. VfL Bad Nenndorf's Lucrețiu Brătescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaklin Karchev in the 81st minute of play. Themis Papadimoulis had several of the Fc Schönhagen's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Bernhardt Reshauge as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 92 minutes, Vaklin Karchev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Schönhagen and the VfL Bad Nenndorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bernhardt Reshauge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Themis Papadimoulis in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the game, Róbert Štriker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernhardt Reshauge. Róbert Štriker showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5.
