Emeryt Sosnowiec's Cícero Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Dlugi in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, KS Blizne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Filipkowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Hjalmar Lindkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Gregorczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliusz Dlugi in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cícero Palmeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, KS Blizne's goal looked a bit too open when Hjalmar Lindkvist came free, but Edgar Gregorczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Emeryt Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Dziurowicz came free, but Cícero Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, KS Blizne's Aureliusz Dlugi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cícero Palmeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Emeryt Sosnowiec's Alexander Helguera was substituted for Viktor Cziráki. A nice corner shot did that Radja Poerwonegoro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgar Gregorczyk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 62nd minute Szymon Lipa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Gregorczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
