In the 2nd match minute, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Ivakin to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Henrique Borges's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelinho Barral was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Henrique Borges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelinho Barral having to make a save. Marcelinho Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Naldo Valladares hit a great ball. The supporters of Roceira SC booed when Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hansjörg Wastl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulk Speed in the 13th minute of play. Válbson Moraes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were awarded a corner. Naldo Valladares went to the cornerflag to take it. Válbson Moraes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Henrique Borges scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelinho Barral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulk Speed, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Tobiasz Zbytniewski hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Marcelinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Valladares in the 33rd minute of play. Henrique Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelinho Barral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. If Henrique Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henrique Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelinho Barral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Baldomero Hermon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrique Borges to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Henrique Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Roceira SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ:s goal. After 56 minutes of play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho was substituted for Henrique Borges. When Roceira SC's Ksawery Winnicki in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Edu Carvalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelinho Barral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edu Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Carvalho in the 63rd minute of play. Roceira SC were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michel Haaland took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edu Carvalho in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelinho Barral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 70th minute of play forced Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Hansjörg Wastl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Edu Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Edu Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelinho Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelinho Barral came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho. But to his dismay, Edu Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Valdemar Tepedino was substituted for Felippe Pitta. After 83 minutes of play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Carvalho in the 87th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roceira SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
